- A soft Avocado
- A plastic or glass cup
- 3 toothpicks
- Water
Step by Step Instructions: How to Grow an Avocado Tree
1. Cut avocado in half, remove seed, and wash it.
2. Remove the skin from the seed. Gently peel the skin off the seed.
3. Identify the top of the seed (the part that was attached to the tree).
4. Stick toothpicks on an angle but not on the line of the seed.
5. Put the seed with toothpicks into the 1/2 cup of water which should reach halfway up on the seed.
6. Put it in a sunny window.
7. Watch it grow.
