About Raccoon's & How to get rid of themRaccoon's are cute but can be dangerous. Many people keep raccoon's as pets but there are many other people who encounter wild raccoon's while the coon is tearing up their garbage, yard, garage, or home. Wild Raccoon's can be very messy, and often destructive intruder's.
How to get rid of raccoon's One of the safest way to get rid of a raccoon is to call the animal control center in your area. Most animal control will take the animal and return it to the wild. How to make your yard and home less attractive to raccoon's Raccoon's are very smart and are expert's when it come's to getting past barricade's and less secured area's. Use locks to prevent them from entering as most raccoon's can figure out unsecure locks like a screw driver through a hasp lock. Live traps can be used to trap raccoon's but this can be dangerous. Keep in mind most wild animal's do not come near human dwelling's unless they are hungry, their natural habitat has been disturbed or they are rabid. Unless you are experienced handling wild animal's it is not a good idea to try to trap them yourself. About Repellent's Repellent's generally work as long as you have removed whatever is attracting the coon's.
