How to get rid of Cockroaches for Good
Getting rid of cockroaches is no easy task, especially if you live in an older model house that may have had them for a long time. Cockroaches like to nest in warm, dark places which means, under shelf liner's, behind the stove, fridge, walls, etc.
Toxic remedies may work but may also have negative health side affects especially if directions are not followed properly.
Homemade remedy
My grandmother always put boric acid out along baseboards, in the cupboard's and behind the stove and behind the fridge. She told us it was to ward off roaches. I never seen any either so I figured it worked. However, after experimenting with it I have found that Boric acid works if there is not a large infestation and it also kills silverfish.
