What is Cats Claw?
This type of cats claw is not the kind you would find on a cat. Cat’s claw is a woody vine that grows wild in the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas of Central and South America. Its thorns resemble a cat’s claws. Cats claw has been used to treat viral infections dating as far back as to the Inca civilization during 1438 AD to 1532.

Cats Claw is used as a dietary supplement (made from a woody vine shaped like a cats claw, found in the Amazon) for viral infections, herpes, HIV, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, arthritis diverticulitis, peptic ulcers, colitis, gastritis, hemorrhoids, parasites, and leaky bowel syndrome
About Species of Cats Claw
The two most common species are U. tomentosa and U. guianensis. Most commercial preparations of cat’s claw contain U. tomentosa.
