Bathroom Cleaning Tips
Cleaning the bathroom does not have to be the most dreaded chore in the house. The bathroom is full of germs so it is important to protect yourself during the cleaning process. Wear protective gloves, an apron, and even goggles if you are using chemicals. There are lots of great natural cleaning products which can get your bathroom clean without being toxic. These neat tricks can save you time, money and energy spent cleaning. Make sure you have all your cleaning supplies as well as a good pair of rubber gloves, and an apron to protect your clothing. The first step to cleaning is putting things where they belong and removing clutter and trash.
Dust nick knacks and pictures (keep in mind that the less decorations and pictures you have the less you have to clean and the less cluttered your room will look). See more on how to clean and deep clean your bathroom below.

Clean mirror's and light switches. (I like to use dish soap and hot water to wash and vinegar water to rinse, then dry with newspaper or a lint free cloth).
Clean and polish the bathtub
Clean and polish sinks and faucets.
Note: If you have fiberglass or plastic tubs or sinks you should only use non abrasive cleaners suggested by the manufacturer.
Polish all faucets for a sparkling clean look.
Remove and air out or wash and dry any throw rugs
Clean and polish floors
I like to mix 1/4 cup vinegar to 1 gallon of water and put it in a spray bottle to wipe down surfaces and floors.
Polish when dry.
Scrub and mop or vacuum the floor.
Check bathroom tiles for signs of mildew
If you have black or gray mold and/or mildew growing in between your tiles you may need to take a little extra time to clean them or if it is not too bad you can use a whitener.
See links to pages which explain each step in more detail below.
